A daily deviation!! Never thought this would ever happen to me. Thank you so much NatalieKelsey (https://www.deviantart.com/nataliekelsey) for selecting Metropolitan for a DD! I'm sooo surprised and also a little sad that I didn't even find out til two days later! But mostly I'm honoured and happy :D I just got my internet connection back after moving to a new place on January 4th. I've been offline since then due to a bad scheduling issue... and leading up to the move I'd just been too busy to keep up with dA too :/ I have almost 13,000 dev msgs to catch up on now woo. Life has taken a few turns for me after a lot of bad times last year but my luck is turning around for 2011.

Hey everyone!! Want to say a special hello to all the new adds on my watchlist :wave: It's a chaotic time in my personal life now. I wish I could go into it in detail but this being a very public place, I'll just say that there's plenty of drama, new chapters are beginning, and I'm scared and uncertain :/ If you want to note me and ask I'll tell you all about it :lol: Adding to that was other concerns within my family but there's somewhat of a happy ending to that. My mom has been getting treatment for a condition that affects her ability to walk. This condition is so new and rare that she had to get experimental treatment and rehabilitat

Starting off on a positive note - was so happy to get away for a mini road trip last week and see friends who we haven't seen in many years since they moved thousands of miles away from us. It was a blast catching up with them and seeing our kids play together. B/c of the mini break I'm so behind with my devwatch with over 1500 devs that I need to catch up on.
